Who we are

What we collect, and when

Reading this site requires no account and no personal details. The data that may be processed while you browse:

• Analytics (consent-based). We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which guides people read. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics cookies are set only if you consent through the privacy message shown on your first visit; if you decline, we receive only aggregated, cookieless signals that don't identify you.
• Advertising (consent-based). We show ads via Google AdSense — see the advertising section below.
• Hosting logs. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses transiently to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
• Newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address is handled by our newsletter provider (Substack) under their own privacy policy — we don't store it ourselves.

Advertising and Google AdSense

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
